Is Gaga Dead? or Will She Make It To The Grammys?

It has become something that is ridiculously common: the fake celebrity death rumors that flood the Internet, Twitter, or what have you. The latest rumor that has emerged is “Lady Gaga Dead.”

The “Lady Gaga Dead” rumors are timed quite nicely, in a bad way, that is. After all, they come right on the eve of the Grammy Awards, which are tomorrow night.

According to the “Lady Gaga Dead” rumor, the singer died as a result of a car accident. That is, of course, the method of death most use when people post these faux reports online.

One problem with most of these death rumors, including the “Lady Gaga Dead” one, is that people fall for them too easily. Exactly how gullible do the people who post these rumors think the public are? They feel the public is pretty gullible, obviously.

To be sure, one way to be clear on whether or not any of these rumors are true, including the “Lady Gaga Dead” rumor, is to check major news sites. In particular, if you check CNN, ABC, MSNBC, ABC and the NY Times and none of them have any information, it’s probably a fake story.

As opposed to Lady Gaga being dead, she’s the recipient of a number of nominations at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. The list includes:

“Poker Face” – Song of the Year “Poker Face” – Record of the Year “Poker Face” – Best Dance Recording “The Fame” – Album of the Year “The Fame” – Best Electronic/Dance Album
