What Would Ne-Yo 'Telephone' Lady Gaga About?

In honor of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" music video premiere on Thursday, MTV News got celebrities to weigh in on what they would ask Gaga about on a phone call, if they could ask about anything in the world. So, this week we will be rolling out their burning questions for the pop princess. And stay tuned to MTV News for more on the "Telephone" video.

Ne-Yo is a dapper guy. So when he was asked what he would call Lady Gaga about, not surprisingly he chose a fashion topic.

"I would call her and ask her how dangerous is it to wear some of those outfits she wears," Ne-Yo confessed to MTV News about Gaga's eccentric sense of style. "I saw her with this thing ... it had, like, spikes on it and it was like a big ball. I was like, 'If you turn wrong and that thing smacks you in the face, like, that could probably be really bad for you!' "

So is Ne-Yo, known for his more gentleman-like sense of style, going to start dressing like Gaga?

"Probably not," he said. "No, spikes aren't very gentlemanly. Plus, I'm clumsy!"

The treatment for the "Telephone" video, which also features Beyoncé, reportedly finds B breaking Gaga out of prison for what has been described as a Quentin Tarantino-inspired clip that even features the truck that Uma Thurman's character drove in Tarantino's "Kill Bill." When Gaga and Beyoncé collaborated on B's "Video Phone" clip, there were visual nods to Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs."

"I feel so bad for the 'Bad Romance' video 'cause the 'Telephone' video's so much better," Gaga told Phoenix's KISS-FM last month. "[Beyoncé is] really a great friend of mine. We have a lot of fun working together. We're so very different in our approaches, but somehow when we come together it's really magical. I'm very excited for everyone to see the video."

Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper launch VIVA GLAM lipstick to end AIDS

From their head-turning fashions to their chart-topping tunes, Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper know how to make a splash. And now they have their own attention-grabbing M·A·C Cosmetics lipstick shade to boot, as the new faces for M·A·C's VIVA GLAM campaign, which benefits HIV/AIDS research.

"They love lipstick. They love fashion. And they want to tell girls all over the world how to keep their love life safe, seductive and satisfying with eyes wide open to the facts about women and HIV/AIDS," the campaign's news release says.

And so far, it looks like these "self-created divas" have another hit on their hands.

Within days of launching, M·A·C had already sold 30,000 of its new "Gaga" and "Cyndi" $14 lipsticks with all proceeds going to AIDS research through the M·A·C AIDS Fund. Incredibly, the fund has donated more than $160 million to AIDS research, the second-largest fundraiser for AIDS behind pharmaceutical companies, since its launch in 1994 with Ru Paul as the first spokesperson for the campaign. Truly, this is beauty at its best.

Mar 8 2010 5:02 PM EST Lady Gaga Planning Ambitious 3-D Concert, DVD

Lady Gaga is currently in the midst of the Australian leg of her massive Monster Ball tour — with scheduled stops in Japan and Europe — and, as you probably know by now, she's also putting the finishing touches on the much-anticipated "Telephone" video, too.

But neither of those things are standing in the way of yet another ambitious endeavor, a planned 3-D concert and subsequent DVD.

On Monday (March 8), MTV News spoke to a rep for her label, Interscope Records, who told us that "there are talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future." No other information — including just how a 3-D concert would manifest — was available at press time.

Late last week, Gaga fan sites began speculating about plans for a 3-D DVD, but this is the first time a concert has been mentioned. In December, Gaga released a deluxe edition of her Fame Monster album, which included a pair of 3-D glasses that she mysteriously explained would come in handy "for things happening soon."

In the meantime, her Little Monsters are gearing up for the debut of the "Telephone" video — the follow-up to her striking "Bad Romance" clip — which, after weeks ofteasing from Gaga herself and some last-minute editing, is scheduled to premiere Thursday at 11:30 p.m. ET on E! News.

Finally Close-Up Snatch Proof! Gaga's A Gal.

Just in case there was any residual doubt that Lady Gaga was harboring a penis under her glittery stagewear, photos from her amazing Grammy performance indicate she's all female.

Last summer at a concert in the UK, an upskirt snap of Gaga showed what looked like a tiny penis. Gaga was the subject of widespread hermaphrodite rumors and embraced as a post-gender icon before she defended her "beautiful vagina."

The 24-year-old star's thankful gesture towards her fans comes after she picked up two trophies at the Grammy Awards this year.

Gaga Goes Goo Goo For Piano

Lady Gaga is to splash out £300,000 on the piano she played with Sir Elton John at the Grammy Awards.

The singer is desperate to buy the instrument - designed by controversial Canadian artist Terence Koh - after she and the legendary star opened the US awards ceremony on Sunday (31.01.10), with a medley of her songs 'Poker Face', 'Speechless' and Elton's 'Your Song'.

A source said: "Terence's artwork is confrontational and incorporates many elements that appeal to Gaga such as sex, punk and gay culture. The black piano with arms reaching out of it was beautiful and it's no surprise she wants it, especially after giving one of the performances of her career."

Earlier this week, Gaga described her duet with Elton as a dream come true, and that she couldn't control her emotions before the show.

The 23-year-old pop star said: "I ruined all of my make-up right before the show. Crying... I was just so happy.

"I had been fantasising about this performance piece for a while and we got to do it and I'm just really truly floored."

It seems likely Gaga may be able to get the money together, as her bankability is at an all time high.

She was reportedly paid £30,000 for a two-hour DJ set at an exclusive London club Maya on January 20.

The 'Just Dance' hitmaker also managed to raise donations of $500,000 for victims of the Haiti earthquakes on January 27 with an impromptu show in New York

Paramore's Hayley Williams is Goo Goo for Gaga

–Source: MTV.com

It wasn’t difficult to do — but after Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, most people found themselves brimming with a renewed sense of what the Spice Girls (and many others) have termed “Girl Power.”

Then, there were people like Paramore’s Hayley Williams, who had the “Girl Power” bug long before the Grammys even got underway — and not just because she fronts one of the biggest pop/rock acts on the planet, either. Seems she’s recently fallen under the spell of one Lady Gaga, too.

“I think it’s amazing to have female artists that write their own material and they put all the work in,” Williams told MTV News on the Grammy red carpet. “I’m very newly obsessed with Lady Gaga. We’ve been needing an artist like her for a long time, for awhile now: She does everything, and she’s great at it. And I really respect that.”

Janet Jackson is Goo Goo for Gaga

Do you feel that with Lady gaga being so popular that your fashion now has to shock people?

I think a lot of [what Lady Gaga wears] is really cool. I’m not knocking Gaga in any way, because I’m actually a fan of hers. I don’t know because we’ve never spoken, but when I look at her, I get the vision of Leigh Bowery. I mean, everybody’s inspired by something. Do I think it’s over the top at all? I enjoy it because it’s something kind of different. It’s something new to look at. It’s going to be hard [for her] to keep up with that, but who knows?

Do you have any anxieties about keeping up with Rihanna and Lady gaga?

To me, it’s just a matter of being you. And like I said, I don’t know what direction it’ll be, but I can tell there’s a change going on in me. Something good. A lot has happened in my life this year, a lot of changes; I think I’m kind of headed in a different direction for sure, and it’ll show itself to me. As far as keeping up, I don’t look at it like that. It’s really about being who you are and doing what you want to do. I think when you try to keep up with something, it’s not a good thing. You have to express yourself and be the true you.

Angelina Jolie Leaves Brad Pitt For Lady Gaga!

Angelina Jolie and Lady GaGaREMEMBER that report from Friday about Angelina Jolieand Lady GaGa?

Apparently they’ve been having some kind of affair!

Well, now there’s more information!

Author Ian Halperin — who first floated the Jolie/GaGa affair rumor — says the Poker Face singer has always been infatuated with theTomb Raider actress.

“If there’s one person in the world she talks repeatedly about it’s Angelina,” a source said. “For years GaGa has had a thing for her. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they’re having a fling. I think they’re like two peas in a pod.”

The source even speculates that GaGa might meet up with Angie after the Grammys.

“Apparently GaGa will not stay long at the after party,” said the insider.

“She is supposed to be going somewhere that’s top secret. It wouldn’t surprise me if its somewhere to meet her someone special.”

Another source revealed that GaGa splashed out almost $80k on lingerie to impress Jolie.

“There’s a someone special in her life that she wants to please,” said the source.

Is Gaga Dead? or Will She Make It To The Grammys?

It has become something that is ridiculously common: the fake celebrity death rumors that flood the Internet, Twitter, or what have you. The latest rumor that has emerged is “Lady Gaga Dead.”

The “Lady Gaga Dead” rumors are timed quite nicely, in a bad way, that is. After all, they come right on the eve of the Grammy Awards, which are tomorrow night.

According to the “Lady Gaga Dead” rumor, the singer died as a result of a car accident. That is, of course, the method of death most use when people post these faux reports online.

One problem with most of these death rumors, including the “Lady Gaga Dead” one, is that people fall for them too easily. Exactly how gullible do the people who post these rumors think the public are? They feel the public is pretty gullible, obviously.

To be sure, one way to be clear on whether or not any of these rumors are true, including the “Lady Gaga Dead” rumor, is to check major news sites. In particular, if you check CNN, ABC, MSNBC, ABC and the NY Times and none of them have any information, it’s probably a fake story.

As opposed to Lady Gaga being dead, she’s the recipient of a number of nominations at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. The list includes:

“Poker Face” – Song of the Year “Poker Face” – Record of the Year “Poker Face” – Best Dance Recording “The Fame” – Album of the Year “The Fame” – Best Electronic/Dance Album
